Hot Water is a Cape Town Afro-Pop band fronted by Donovan Copley. Known for its accessible, feel-good music and fun dance vibes, Hot Water effortlessly captivates, connects and uplifts audiences locally and abroad.
Not only are they a local favourite, Warner Bros Entertainment chose their infectious Wamkelekile for the soundtrack to their Hollywood blockbuster, Blended. Jeremy Olivier has performed all over South Africa, has toured extensively overseas and has shared the stage with greats such as George Benson, Katherine Jenkins and Jonathan Butler. On the local front he’s performed with some of South Africa’s finest musicians, including Sibongile Khumalo, Judith Sephuma, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Ard Matthews, Hugh Masekela, Loyiso Bala, Freshly Ground, Mango Groove, Lira and Johnny Clegg.
His groundbreaking new album, Changing World, released in October 2018, was recorded in New York at the Clubhouse Studio in January of the same year, and features legendary musicians, such as two-time Grammy awards winner, Will Calhoun (Living Colour), David Sancious (Sting, Bruce Springsteen) and Tom ‘Bones’ Malone.
He has also collaborated with iconic five-time Grammy winners, the incredible Ladysmith Black Mambazo
