Majozi | Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 October | 3:30pm

Majozi is a proudly South African musician from the coastal city of Durban who wears his heart on his sleeve. Majozi is refreshingly sincere and crafts heartfelt songs that artfully portray his uplifting perspective on the world around him.

His debut single with Universal, ‘Fire’, was a major pop radio hit and his feel-good follow up single, ‘Darling’, endeared Majozi to the hearts of his soon-to-be loyal fans. He released his debut full length album in March 2016 which includes the #1 single ‘Breathing’ as well as the hit collaboration with Tresor, ‘The Woods’. In 2017, Majozi also received a SAMA nomination for Best Adult Contemporary Album. Follow Majozi on Youtube to assure you don’t miss any of his music https://www.youtube.com/user/Majozi182

Jerry & The Bandits | Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 October | 1pm & 4:30pm

Frankly, people see Jerry vigorously jolting around on stage as a one-man band short of a monkey, when in fact he has three. “The Bandits” accompany the singer with a variety of musical instrumentation , vocal harmonies, immense energy, and bad one liners.

In  2015 the band released their first EP, ‘Ghosts’. After seeing its success, they followed with their second EP, ‘Fiction in Folktale’, in 2016. The name of the EP could not have been chosen any wiser, as they convey beautiful life lessons via melodic storytelling, and staying true to the folk elements.

Jason Serrao | Sunday 6 October | 12:30pm

Justin Serrao; singer-songwriter, live performer, strategic networker, and successful music business entrepreneur. Justin describes his music as a fusion of acoustic and country rock. Few know the years of hustle and heartache that carved out his career.  Idols saw Justin sitting in line side-by-side with one David Van Vuuren for 2 days awaiting a call to audition in front of the Idols Judges.

Fast forward to 2019, Justin remains loyal to his love for Country Music and has seen the South African musical landscape embrace it more and more. Justin also remains loyal to the West Rand, where he still lives today. He continues to learn from his musical mentors and works hard on his song-writing and networking. As always, he strives to amplify opportunities for up-and-coming artists on stages across the country.

Justin is one of South Africa’s hardest working acts and is continually seeking ways to develop the business and develop inroads for new talent.

The country-fusion genre that is so sincere to his sound has always been ahead of his time. 2019 has embraced it with open arms! New music and a new live show are presently being carefully created. Audiences can expect a new album in 2020. For more of Justin’s music follow his YouTube channel: TheJustinSerrao
